Vantage in Philanthropy has worked extensively along the east and west coasts of Florida for the past 25 years with a regional office in Fort Lauderdale. For the America’s Cup Hall of Fame, we worked in St. Petersburg, Sarasota, Naples, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach, and Hobe Sound. As the coordinator of David Rockefeller, Jr.’s Around the Americas ocean conservation initiative, we assembled a coalition that included University of Miami Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science, Port of Miami, National Park Service, and the Herbert Hoover Foundation. We managed a strategic planning project for the Udonis Haslem Children’s Foundation in Miami. In 2018, we concluded the $8.6 million Opportunity Knocks capital campaign for Opportunity Early Childhood Education & Family Center in Palm Beach. In 2022, we began working with Vero Beach based, Crossover Mission to fund the purchase of a former citrus packing plant into the Crossover Center for Excellence. To date, over $10 million has been raised for capital improvements, mortgage retirement, an endowment and scholarship funds.
For six years, David served on the Allocation Committee for the Town of Palm Beach United Way.
